After nearly two decades of marriage, Frank and Claudia feel deeply anchored in the conformity of life. Preparing to go somewhere far away wit their son, they carefully pack up a shared existence, everything that binds them togheter. A woman appears on their doorstep who claims that 24 years ago Frank promised to love her forever. 

The appearance of Romy Vogtländer triggers a psychological war with betrayal, resentment and revenge.

Each character is forced to confront their own weaknesses and regrets, while the audience is taken on a captivating journey through the complicated labyrinth of human emotions, from which no one can emerge as ‘innocent’ as they entered.
